Beside the sales of CCD/CMOS image sensors we offer many services around these products. First of all this is the development of customized optoelectronic systems and the support of our customers while developing new applications. Further we offer the following:
Glass Removal
In some applications the cover glasses are more of a hindrance, e.g. by causing reflections. For solving such problems we offer a removal of cover glasses for many CCD sensors available on the market.
Filters on image sensors
After removal of the standard glass cover we can put on several types of filters. With this procedure a sensor can e.g. be optimized for a certain laser wavelength.
Fiberoptics on image sensors
With the use of CCD/CMOS area cameras or line scan cameras, there must be usually projected an image onto the CCD sensor. Beside conventional lenses also fiber optics are used for this. These consist of up to 6µm of thin glass fibers, which are as bundle able to transfer an image. Conventional lenses transfer about 3%-5% of the incoming light to the sensor, a fiber optic however up to 70%.
UV Coating of Sensors
In order to extend the usable spectral region of the sensors, these can be provided with a specialized coating. In the case of applications with UV light this coating emits visible light, which can be detected by the sensor. Such a coating lowers the lower end of the spectral sensitivity from 350nm down to 100nm.
Camera Measurement
As special service EURECA offers the measuring of special cameras parameters, in order to determine the most important specifications of such systems. This is possible both for single pieces (e.g. for scientific projects) or for a new camera series of a manufacturer.
